About us

I’m a woman navigating life with a man-child bear of a partner, a YouTube addicted teenage daughter and a doughy dumpling faced baby boy who I am convinced waits until I have hold of him, then proceeds to be sick on me, pee on me or to fill his nappy is the most explosive way. Trying to find that balance of being a mother, being a girlfriend, being a friend, being a daughter and just being the best me I can be.

I am doing more of what I love and enjoy as I feel I have neglected myself creatively and I’m the type of person whose soul dies a little if I don’t get to express myself in some kind of medium. I am using my maternity leave as a time for rediscovery, small wins, expanding horizons and getting as many kisses and cuddles from this absolute squidgy of a baby. This year I will be concentrating on Interior architecture and design, photography and Nutrition by the end of the year there will be noticeable changes in these areas.

My partner is a PT in Ipswich, Suffolk he is currently working towards expanding his knowledge so that he has a comprehensive understanding of the rehabilitation side of fitness and how the body works at a cellular level. you can find him on Instagram as @tylerthornhillfitness he is also on Facebook and will soon have a website too once I’ve got it up and running. You would be mistaken in thinking that I would in turn be super fit having a personal trainer as a partner but this is just not the case. Before I met Tyler I was super fit I went to the gym I ran most mornings for many miles and ate healthy (the eating hasn’t changed), but now since just before the baby was born I haven’t been too into the physical side of fitness due to health issues then pregnancy. I get asked a lot do we do couples workouts together? we did in the very beginning but not now as our workout styles differ a lot and I get very frustrated when I’m waiting around for the next exercise due to the relaxed approach he is taking with me when I want to be treated the same as any other client. We may try again in the future but for now I’ll stick to the breastfeeding, rush around everywhere, doing everything one handed due to carrying infant on one side at all times workout plan it’s working so far just not too good on the toning side but I’ll do that soon when my C-section scar doesn’t feel so tender.

I will be using this space to post things about me and my likes, interests, dislikes, hopes and dreams I cannot guarantee that it will be interesting to anybody else as I am just an average member of society trying to find experiences from everyday life that make my world a little brighter.

After searching my albums I have come to the realisation that I do not have a photograph of all four of us together or one of my daughter where she isn’t covering her face so I will have to get on that.

To Purchase your very own Milk Lady pin Click here

I have created a pin to promote the normalisation of breastfeeding and pumping Mummas. It is also a pat on the back for all Mummas and to empower them and others to do what is best for them and their Bubbas in the way of nourishment. Breastfeeding, pumping, a mixture or formula as long as your baby is fed let’s have less judgment and more support. This parenting gig can be difficult and no two journeys are the same.

This pin was also created to raise money for charity the aim being to have a target and once hit I would pick a new charity to raise money for giving me the chance to support various charities close to home or worldwide.

The current charity is Mary’s Meals

Food is a basic need that everyone needs and most take for granted. Children shouldn’t be distracted by where their next meal is coming from, they shouldn’t feel tired, weak and sick due to lack of basic provisions.

Thank you so much for your support, if you have suggestions for future charities I could raise money for please do not hesitate to Contact me.
